    Jason has a 30-year background in real estate and development, business ownership and management. Prior to starting Comer Companies, Jason served EBSCO Industries, Inc. as the President and Town Founder of Alys Beach. After 22 years of serving other organizations, Jason started Comer Companies in 2012.

    Jason has found his greatest passion in creating and investing in businesses and working alongside the leadership and teams that are in place. He has served on numerous boards, including EBSCO Industries, Inc., The Alys Foundation, Seaside Neighborhood School, Gulf Coast Council Boy Scouts, American Heart Association and others.

    A native of Eufala, Alabama, Jason graduated from Birmingham-Southern College. Jason is married and is the father of four children. His favorite activities include anything to do with his family from dance competitions to turkey hunting to football games to travel and leisure time. Jason is keenly interested in health and wellness and continues to practice Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai Kickboxing. Jason also enjoys tennis, quality time with friends, travel and reading.

    Brian was previously a founding Principal and the Chief Financial Officer of Dominion Partners, a commercial real estate investment, development and management enterprise where he led and closed over $450MM of development and acquisition transactions for Class “A” real estate investments in the seniors housing, multifamily and office sectors. In addition to his traditional CFO duties, Parker established and jointly led the Seniors Housing operating company to a stable portfolio of approximately 1,600 units, $85MM in annual revenues, an employment base of 1,100 associates and an aggregate enterprise value of $550MM.

    Brian was formerly with EBSCO Industries, where he served as Chief Financial Officer of EBSCO Gulf Coast Development, Inc. (Alys Beach, FL), and Daniel Corporation, a developer of Class “A” commercial real estate.

    Brian began his career in public accounting with Ernst & Young LLP. A graduate of Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas he is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive). He is happily married and the father of three children. Brian enjoys spending time with his family and friends, traveling and mountain biking.

    Dustin is a digital marketing and e-commerce expert who has partnered with companies for over a decade to effectively manage and improve their sales and marketing efforts. After spending years developing his expertise, overseeing company strategies and client relationships, and motivating and developing his teams, Dustin knows how to apply both his technical and relational expertise to make the right decisions to scale businesses.

    His proven track record of successfully managing, developing, and operating high growth businesses, combined with his knack for building relationships, networking, and navigating the many challenges of entrepreneurship, led to his position as President of Digital and E-Commerce Ventures at Comer Companies.

    Outside of work, he is married with two sons and enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, and traveling.

    Donny is a visual marketing and product development specialist with experience in national and start-up brands alike, including co-founding Elite Anglr Outdoor Apparel Co. in 2018. Donny brings over 20 years of experience in design, marketing, and e-commerce development focused on outdoor and apparel production.

    With an additional background in e-commerce content management authoring for BBVAUSA.com, Donny brings knowledge of behavioral economics, digital customer experience, and the importance of positive customer culture. His focus for success has always been on a positive customer culture to drive brand growth and recognition across multiple channels, including developing social media influencer teams that share similar company values. “Culture beats strategy — so much that culture is strategy” - Seth Godin

    Born in the small community of Corner, Alabama and current resident of Alabaster, Alabama, Donny has always called Alabama home. He is a graduate from the University of Montevallo in Montevallo, Alabama. Married to his wonderful wife and father to one child, he enjoys spending time with family and friends. When free time is available, he enjoys spending time on the water fishing or watching Pittsburgh Penguins hockey.

    For over 5 years, Trina has been a leader in the content production and social media space. Prior to Comer Companies, she worked at Hibbett | City Gear alongside Apparel & Accessory Industry leaders and can be credited with contributions to large-scale initiatives including Nike’s Air Max Month, Nice Kicks Small Town Sneakerhead and Support Her Sole. As Marketing Director, Trina is excited to bring her experience in content creation, social media strategy, influencer marketing and merchandising to Comer Companies.

    When not in the office, Trina helps manage a family business with her parents. She enjoys traveling, cheering on Auburn University (her alma mater) and spending time with her family, friends and two dogs.

  • Accounting Manager

    Bryan joins Comer Companies with 9 years of experience in accounting and finance, which will make him a valuable asset as our portfolio continues to expand. Previously a Financial Analyst at CBRE, Inc. his responsibilities and experience include financial reporting, budget planning, forecast analysis and project management.

    Originally from Columbus, MS, Bryan received his degree from Mississippi State University in Accounting.

    While not in the office, Bryan enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing tennis and golf and watching all MS Bulldog Athletics.

  • Client Success Manager, Trusy Social

    Canaan is a marketing professional who specializes in customer service, client management, and improving business efficiency and procedures. He holds a marketing degree from the University of Alabama and has held various leadership positions and helped manage a family business prior to coming on board with Comer Companies. He uses his knowledge and expertise to aid the growth and expansion of Trusy, a Comer Companies portfolio company.

    Canaan enjoys golfing, beach volleyball, spending time with family and friends, and traveling in his leisure time.

    Jake is a marketing professional with a focus on client success. Jake earned a BS in Marketing from Mississippi State University. In his role as a client success manager, he assists with client communication for Trusy to ensure the best service is provided. He also leads the organic social media strategy and implementation.

    Outside of work, Jake likes to be active and moving. You can find him at the gym, on a hike with his dog, or playing soccer.

    Brian is the Director of Operations at The Big Chill. He oversees the day to day operations to provide an amazing experience for our team and our guests.

    Brian has 25 years in the hospitality industry with a majority of experience with high growth regional brands. Brian has lead departments in the capacity of operations and people development. He enjoys the challenges of growing a brand and creating efficiencies in operations.

  • Assistant Director of Operations, The Big Chill 30a

    Nicki is a hospitality and event marketing professional with a focus on creating and planning engaging, family friendly events for The Big Chill 30a.

    Prior to joining Comer Companies in 2019, she held a variety of hospitality positions in Florida, NY, Texas and Hawaii.

    Nicki earned a BS in Business Administration & Hospitality Management from the University of Central Florida followed by a MA in Sustainable Tourism from the Patel School of Global Sustainability at the University of South Florida.

    When out of the office, Nicki enjoys time with family and friends, staying active and keeping her passport pages filled!

    Crystal Castillo has served the hospitality industry for over 25 years. Starting in the kitchen as Chef, Crystal now leads the team today as the General Manager. Working hand-in-hand with her team, she strives to create a family environment that welcomes all.

    Crystal has always had a passion for the hospitality industry which led her to attend the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. Her culinary journey has taken her from Nashville, TN, to Atlanta, GA and Fort Worth, TX where she has now made a home in Florida.

    She carries over her love for food into gardening and spending time with her husband and daughter.
